A Container is a standard unit of software that packages up code and all its dependencies so the application runs quickly and reliably from one computing environment to another. Containers offer a logical packaging mechanism in which applications can be abstracted from the environment in which they actually run.

We also looked at Container Orchestration, It can be used in any environment where you use containers. It helps you to deploy the same application across different environments without needing to redesign it.
